Sony marketing chief quits

Robert Levin, president of worldwide marketing at Sony Pictures Entertainment has resigned.

LONDON (Brand Republic) - Robert Levin, president of worldwide marketing at Sony Pictures Entertainment has resigned.

The company has not revealed the reasons for Levin鈥檚 departure. John Calley, Sony鈥檚 chairman and chief executive, said: 鈥淲e wish him well in whatever he chooses to do next.鈥

Levin joined Sony in 1996, and was responsible for marketing the company鈥檚 blockbuster movie Men in Black, as well as Jerry Maguire, My Best Friend鈥檚 Wedding, and the latest hit, Charlie鈥檚 Angels. Before joining Sony, he was president of worldwide marketing at the Walt Disney Studios.
