Sony Ericsson launches unconventional campaign

Sony Ericsson is launching an unconventional campaign to promote its T300 handset. From this Sunday (December 15), it will put specially designed advertising jackets on more than 600 big drooling dogs in the UK, Germany, France, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Spain and Italy. The jackets will display the T300 image and a range of images playing on the 'drool' theme. The dogs will be walked several times a day in major cities. Dog walkers will also wear branded clothing. Space has been bought by Dutch media company Dogvertise. The dogs are part of a wider online campaign directing consumers to www.drool-uk.com as well as radio, print and ambient advertising to promote the phone.
