LONDON (Brand Republic) – Lachlan Murdoch has been appointed deputy chief operating officer at News Corporation, putting him just two places behind his father, Rupert Murdoch, at the top of the empire.
The appointment makes it increasingly likely that Lachlan, 29, will succeed his father at the helm of News Corp. He is the only one of the Murdoch offspring to sit on the six-strong board of directors.
