Elton John is the star of Snickers' latest ad, but this is a side of him you've never seen before.

The music icon ventures into the hip-hop genre and personifies American artist Boogie when he’s lost his edge in a rap battle due to hunger. As MCs duel at a house party, Elton steps up in his red glitter jacket and glasses, singing his hit song Don’t Go Breaking My Heart. The crowd is baffled, but then UK rapper Femi Nylander hands Elton a Snickers bar – allowing the real Boogie to return to form. The work was written by Neil Clarke, art directed by Jay Phillips and directed by Andreas Nilsson through Biscuit Filmworks.
