The line, which is already available in the US, will include apple and raspberry variants, and will compete with brands such as Twinings and Arizona.
The launch of the teas, which contain high levels of antioxidants, follows Tetley's introduction of a 'healthier' tea range, Aqua T, targeting a similar market (Marketing, 12 April).
White tea has grown in popularity over the past few years, with skincare brand Origins and Twinings both launching ranges.
Unilever is also believed to be preparing a substantial drive for its Lipton Ice Tea brand, using the strapline 'Lipton Tea can do that'.
