
. Now Battersea-based caterer Smart Hospitality has swooped to expand its own offering.
"We are taking this opportunity to position ourselves for when the market fully recovers," said Smart Hospitality operations director Richard Gee. "With acquisition of the production kitchen and some assets, coupled with our hospitality site in Kneller Hall being granted its RFU licence, things are moving at a pace."
Smart Hospitality has been operating from Battersea Evolution where it has held an exclusive contract since inception in 2004.
The expansion of Smart has led to the requirement of a permanent production facility. Red Snapper's Bermondsey kitchen facilities were "perfect for the task" according to the firm.
