
"This will boost our retail presence," said Sledge commercial director Ian Irving. "Particularly in the FMCG arena where people are more likely in the current economic climate to walk away from brands they've been loyal to in the past."
The plan is for the two firms to "take experiences into the consumers' environment" and they have already started pitching on three pieces of business ahead of the collaboration being inked this week.
"Brands are seeing the value of embracing advocacy to retain customers," said Irving.
REL is the third biggest field marketing outfit in the UK.
