The ‘5 for 5’ café, which opens this Friday (1 October), will take over The Tramshed in Shoreditch for a limited period, with three sittings a day for lunch and dinner.
The venue will be transformed into a communal dining room with Innocent touches, such as a bespoke lettuce trellis and mini herb gardens.
Acoustic musicians will provide background entertainment in the evenings, while celebrity chef Gizzi Erskine will create a lunch and dinner menu over two weekends in October (1-3 and 5-8).
Diners will be able to choose their 5-a-day from a blackboard of starters, main courses and puddings.
For those that don’t have time to sit down there will be a ‘5 for 5 takeaway’ offer.
There will also be innocent drinks on sale, as well as a BYO policy for those who want a glass of wine with their meal.
