Sky Networks in £10m creative review

Sky has called a pitch for its £10 million Sky Networks advertising account. The business includes the Sky One, Sky Two, Sky Three, Sky News, Sky Movies, Sky Travel, Sky Arts and Sky Box Office brands.

Alex Lewis, the director of marketing and communications at Sky Networks, said the pitch was part of an increased marketing push by Sky to use its content and channel brands to drive subscriptions. He said: "We have put content at the heart of our strategy to drive subscriptions and we are looking for an agency partner to help drive this."

There is no incumbent on the Sky Networks task. The incumbent on the Sky One and Sky News brands, Beattie McGuinness Bungay, has declined to repitch for its share of the business.

WCRS, which handles Sky's corporate brand advertising, will be involved in the pitch. Sky intends to shortlist three or four agencies, with an appointment expected by July.
