Sky and C4 team up to bring Temptation Island to the UK

Controversial US reality TV show Temptation Island is to be made for the UK market.

LONDON (Brand Republic) - Controversial US reality TV show Temptation Island is to be made for the UK market.

Sky One and Channel 4 have teamed up to broadcast the show, which has been criticised for cashing in on participants’ emotional trauma as couples fight to resist the temptations of the flesh on a tropical island.

The US version ran for six weeks with an average audience of 17m per episode. It is expected Sky One will screen the series initially and Channel 4 the repeats.
