Visitor numbers from this year’s show from 19 - 23 October haven’t yet been released, but organisers say a slight decline is expected from the 33,500 at the 2010 show, which was held at Olympia.
VOS Media show manager Tim Holmes told Event: "Earl’s Court 2 is probably a better size for the show. Earl’s Court 1 is a big space and we wanted to keep the benefit of the good transport links."
He added that they aim to increase visitor numbers by capitalising on the show’s dates, which next year coincide with half term.
"We were offered the half term dates which we’ve been searching for for quite a while," he said.
"We’ll be two weeks later in the calendar year, which for a snowsports event is incredibly important. Last week during the show it was 21 degrees on the Sunday, which is not the best when you’re trying to persuade people to think of the winter season and booking skiing holidays."To leave a comment and let us know your thoughts.
