The ads, created by Bartle Bogle Hegarty, promote Barclays' Premiership "money can't buy" football prizes, which are being offered via Barclays cash machines.
In the ad starring Bolton Wanderers manager Allardyce, he is shown haranguing his team for their poor performance. But when the camera draws back, the viewer sees that it is a team of primary school-aged footballers he is talking to. One of the prizes on offer is a coaching session from Allardyce.
The second ad takes place as two Manchester United fans tour Old Trafford, discussing how they would do things differently to the manager Sir Alex Ferguson. As they arrive in the dressing room, he overhears them, and walks past asking: "Is everything all right lads?" The spot promotes the prize of a behind-the-scenes tour of a Premiership club.
A third spot in the series promotes the prize of a chance to play a game at Anfield. The ads were written and art directed by Richard Robinson and Graham Lakeland, and directed by Ron Scalpello through Rogue Films.
Barclays "money can't buy" competition is running across 2,800 Barclays cash machines in the UK and gives people the chance to win a prize every time they use the machines. The prizes are printed on the back of receipts.
In December, sacked Newcastle manager Sir Bobby Robson appeared with former Southampton manger Gordon Strachan in another ad backing the promotion.
