He replaces Ryan Newey, the founder, who has become the chief creative officer.

Learman joined Adam & Eve/DDB in 2013 and worked on the global Unilever business from London. He oversaw the launch of a new global positioning for Lipton tea and also worked on the Wall’s ice-cream brand.

He was previously the ex-ecutive creative director and partner at Pablo London (then known as More) for more than a year, handling the Adidas, Carlsberg, Sega and Lamborghini accounts.

Between 2004 and 2010, Learman was a joint executive creative director at McCann London alongside Brian Fraser. He has also worked at DDB and Ogilvy & Mather.

In October last year, Fold7 took on four new creatives after new-business wins from Wonga.com, Magners, Audible, Eat and Doddle.

Jim Seath and Rod Elms joined the agency as senior creatives, while Lucy Aston and Ben Ducker, former creatives at VCCP, became mid-weights.
