Burton, who founded the Exhibiting Show – now the Event and Exhibiting Show – will leave in December after a year at the company.
He told Event: "I’ve done what we set out to do, quicker than we anticipated," referring to 360’s strategic marketing review and implementation which was completed ahead of schedule.
Burton added that he has "a bunch" of ideas for future projects, including some events and event services.
He told Event that he would continue with consult 360 on projects and that "we are all great friends, nothing sinister has happened."
