Portsmouth Guildhall has brought in Showsec as its in-house security firm.
The 2,228 capacity concert hall and corporate venue will have a permanent team lead by Showsec south coast area manager Tracey McCarthy.
"We are already in close liaison with the venue to introduce new ideas and fresh procedures to improve the experience of everyone visiting and working at the venue," said McCarthy.
