Showsec had an extensive perimeter security operation with dog patrols and mobile response units during the entire weekend.
Organised by Live Nation, the event attracted 40,000 visitors, and included performances from Rhianna, JLS, Paolo Nutini and Florence and the Machine.
"Location has been a key factor with this event," said Showsec northern regional manager Alan Wallace.
"We had a number of Welsh speakers on the event team to ensure language barriers was never an issue, and we adapted our systems to fit the site and style of the event three weeks before it took place."
