Shloer targets women with 'Romcom' film coupon push

LONDON - Shloer has tied up with DVD rental service Lovefilm to target 50,000 £1-off coupons at the service's female customers.

The coupons will be included in along with all 'Romcom' films sent out by Lovefilm and are redeemable up until August 20.

Additionally Shloer is also set for partnership promotions with Habitat and clothing retailer White Stuff. Sampled of the drink will be offered alongside 50p-off coupons.

Last month Shloer announced a six-figure deal to sponsor a strand of UKTV Food called "Food to Share", including Oliver's Twists, Recipe for Success and Saturday Kitchen.

Additionally Shloer recently relaunched its website, which features a blog by the singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor and a series of how-to tips on subjects such as giving the dinner parties or BBQs.

Amanda Grabham, Shloer marketing communications controller, said: "We're driving the sampling and couponing activity on the back of the launch of Shloer's new ‘Best Served Shared' consumer press campaign and the brand's 20-week ‘Food to Share' sponsorship deal with UKTV Food, both of which kicked off last month."
