Sheba goes to Provence in new catfood spot from AMV

LONDON - A pampered cat will find her home transformed to the sunny climes of Provence in the new campaign for Masterfoods' Petcare catfood brand Sheba.

In the 30-second ad called "pleasure zone", created by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, a woman feeds her cat Sheba Creation Chicken Provence. Suddenly her apartment is transformed by the spirits of Provence and flooded with bright sunlight.

In a second ad, for the Masterfoods dogfood brand Cesar, a West Highland terrier is show making toast and freshly squeezed orange juice as a treat for his owner, because she loves him so much she gives him Cesar cuisine premium dog food.

"Pleasure zone" will break in the UK on July 13 and will run on national television until the end of the year, backed by print, direct marketing and internet activity. It was written by Chris Bardsley, art directed by David May and directed by Phil Taylor through Sneezing Tree.

The Cesar ad, "dog's breakfast", created by art director Rob Oliver and copywriter Cam Mitchell, and directed by Julia Jason through Cowboy Films. Media for the campaign is being handled by MediaCom.

Both ads are scheduled for broadcast in Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Italy and Ireland.
