
The advertiser was previously part of the Homeform Group that went into administration in June. The group also included Kitchens Direct, Dolphin Bathrooms and Moben Kitchens.
The review of the company’s media spend is understood to be headed by the group marketing director Mark Collier, who is in preliminary discussions with media agencies.
A deal to save Sharps from administration was struck in July, and the new company is now based at the Sharps factory at Bilston in the West Midlands. It was sold to its previous owner, the private equity firm Sun European Partners.
Earlier this year, the Homeform Group to give a boost to its brands, just before going into administration. The campaign was handled by creative agency The Market Creative, with media by MediaCom North, which has not handled the account since the Homeform Group went into administration.
The Market Creative was placed in administration briefly following the loss of the Homeform Group, which was its biggest client. It has since relaunched, under founders Sue Benson and Dorina D’Ambrosio.
In May, Sharps Bedrooms also shifted its creative digital account from DLKW Lowe to Affinity New Media.
The company now operates from 96 showrooms and concessions nationally.
Sharps Bedrooms was not available for comment regarding the review of its media account.
