Its debut issue will be sent to 100,000 private health and income protection customers at the end of this month.
The content will be based on promoting a healthy lifestyle. Articles will be geared towards keeping readers up to date with medical breakthroughs and information about medical conditions.
The first issue will contain a 14-page reference guide about the heart, with features on common heart problems, the future of robotic surgery and medical tests available for private healthcare customers.
The number of editorial staff is undisclosed, but content will be written by contributors and Aviva's clinical staff, as well as interviews with Aviva customers and leading surgeons.
Seven Squared was set up following the acquisition of Square One Publishing by Seven Publishing Group in 2007.
Earlier this year, Seven Squared lost out in a pitch to wrest RBS's Sense magazine from the incumbent John Brown Media.
