It is the latest coup for the Irish pay tv broadcaster - which recently won the rights to the Premiership and England matches in a joint deal with ITV - and comes after years of Hatton's fights running on Sky Sports' pay per view service.
Setanta is also using the fight as an opportunity to lure more subscribers to its service - particularly Freeview viewers - who have the option of paying a fee of £10.99 to watch the match. If they subscribe before midnight on the eve of the fight they are also entitled to a full month's subscription plus an extra month free -netting them at least the first two of Setanta's Premier League games. Satellite and cable subscribers will pay a fee of £15 for a similar deal (although the extra month offer is not open to cable viewers). The fight will also be available on a pay-per-view basis on the Sky platform for £19.95.
