IDS handles the sales for the Flextech portfolio of channels and UK TV, while Avanti Screenmedia handles sales for screens in 1,052 bars and 31 shopping malls across the UK.
The appointments were made following an extensive pitch process that was managed by Setanta Sports and independent media agency BLM.
The new contracts take effect from January 2007, with pre-sales starting in September this year.
The contracts coincide with Setanta Sports adding Setanta Golf to its portfolio of sports channels, which already includes live coverage of Scottish Premier League football and five of Europe's six leading soccer leagues.
Setanta currently holds exclusive rights to PGA Tour golf, which it took from Sky Sports in June, two Premier League packages incorporating 46 FA Premier League games, and a separate package incorporating 60 Scottish Premier League games.
As part of the offering to advertisers, Setanta Sports channels will for the first time be measured by industry body Barb from January 2007.
James Wildman, executive sales director at IDS, said: "Our respective cultures and ambitions are very well aligned. We see this appointment as an endorsement of the IDS brand and our approach to market. We are looking forward to working closely with our new partner and can't wait to discuss the exciting opportunities with our advertising customers."
Jamie Ball, media sales director at Avanti, added: "The pub is increasingly being seen as the key destination for football viewing and we believe that Setanta's proposition will be one the key elements in the continuing rise in awareness of the effectiveness of advertising in the bar environment and in keeping the "destination bar" concept at the forefront of planners' and buyers' minds."
