The Sennheiser showroom is designed to inspire a spirit of exploration and cultutral celebration represented by the Oculus, New York's newest retail destination, and will offer the public access to the brand's latest audio products.
The Soundscape is fully immersive and features several themed zones that allow guests to explore the brand's range of audio products. Products on display include the electrostatic reference headphone system HE 1, the PXC 550 travel headphones and the HD 1 wireless headphones. Sennheiser's conferencing solutions are also on show to inform visitors of the benefits of high-quality audio for business.
Daniel Sennheiser, co-CEO of Sennheiser, said: "Westfield World Trade Center has been created to be a unique stage for unique experiences. This is precisely our aim with the Soundscape. We are excited to invite people to share our vision to shape the future of audio, and want to offer a look beyond technology by creating a stage for sound itself – and the pure excitement of hearing audio in new ways."
The German brand also opened a pop-up store in New York's SoHo district on 21 October, which exhibits a range of the brand's products and will host special events.
As well as the Soundscape and pop-up, the audio brand has launched a series of HE 1 listening experiences in selected stores across the USA and Canada. The tour began on 27 September.
