Senior Orange duo depart in marketing team rejig

Two senior Orange marketers have left the mobile network operator as part of a restructure of its marketing department.

Jennifer Roebuck, senior manager of music, sports and games, and Darrell McClennan Fordyce, head of sport and games brand marketing, have resigned.

Orange is recruiting for a replacement for Roebuck, who will take on a role that will incor- porate McClennan Fordyce's responsibilities.

Julian Diment, Orange's head of entertainment and digital brand marketing, will take the job on a temporary basis until an appointment is made.

McClennan Fordyce will take on the role of managing partner at WPP-owned sponsorship agency Performance Sport and Entertainment at the beginning of October.

Orange's restructure is part of a company-wide overhaul by owner France Telecom, following the rebranding and integration of its broadband supplier Wanadoo in June.

At the same time, Orange launched a free broadband offer to customers on monthly mobile contracts of at least £30.
