The new show will take place at Manchester Central from 5-7 April 2013, before Cake & Bake returns to London next September.

This weekend’s two-day show at Earls Court was run by Exposure Live and claimed to be Britain’s largest-ever show dedicated to sugar craft, cake decorating and baking.

Demonstrations from baking personalities such as Paul Hollywood, Mary Berry, and Richard Bertinet took place along with appearances from current contestants and past winners from The Great British Bake Off, the BBC Two show credited with reviving the nation’s interest in baking.

Exposure Live said the Manchester show will have the same features as the London event with some new additions based on visitor feedback.
