The winning agency will be tasked with bumping Park Resorts up the natural search listings on search engines such as Google, Yahoo! and Microsoft's Windows Live Search.
Park Resorts was seeking a search agency to boost its online presence, as part of a wider review of its online advertising strategy. The firm is keen to improve its presence in the competitive UK holiday market.
Last month, Park Resorts appointed ad agency Sugar, part of the Ad2One Group, to its digital media planning and buying account and is seeking to raise its search activity along with display.
The appointment would pit The Search Works against rival agency Latitude, which handles search engine optimisation for Park Resorts' competitor Haven Holidays. Both firms have recently invested in gaining more bookings online and see search as a key vehicle for doing so.
