Seabrook Bread Crisps will launch in 250 Morrisons stores, ahead of an expected wider rollout next year in other supermarkets.
The breaded crisps are available in four variants: Farmer Fred's Cheddar Cheese & Red Onion; Trawlerman Ted's Sea Salt and Balsamic Vinegar; Fireman Frank's Sweet Chilli, and Saucy Sue's Tangy.
The snack will be priced at £1.69 for a 100g drum in Morrisons, which will also run a two-for-£3 promotion to lure consumers.
The bread crisps are targeted at the snack-sharing market and arrive as Seabrook moves to expand its sales and distribution beyond its core Northern heartland, in particular, to establish itself in the London convenience market.
Seabrook says its crisps generate more than £28m-worth of sales a year.
