LONDON (Brand Republic) - UK brewer Scottish & Newcastle is investing £93m in a joint venture which will own and run the Portuguese brewer and distributor, Central De Cervejas.
S&N will have a 49% stake in the company. Other major investors are Banco Espirito Santo and holding company Parfil, which founded Central De Cervejas.
Central De Cervejas has a 40% share of the Portuguese beer market.
