With more than 12 years events experience between them, Blumson and Dardis have also sold and worked on more than £20m worth of events for Vinopolis and Single Market Events.

As well as being an event management company, Nexgen Events will also offer a free venue finding service, and training for venues sales teams.

In a joint statement Blumson and Dardis said: "We have worked together for three years and our different skills complement each other extremely well. We are both very driven and love the event industry and this opportunity allows us to work more specifically on projects and project management, which is why it was possible to leave Vinopolis."

Since setting up the company at the start of November the pair have been working on a number of last minute Christmas parties for their client base.
