The Real Jobs website, at www.realradio.co.uk/jobs, will list around 1,500 Scottish vacancies across a range of industries.

Though the service is starting online, GMG Radio said this will evolve and all options will be considered, including on-air cross promotion.

Billy Anderson, regional managing director of GMG Radio Scotland and the North East, said this partnership allows Real Radio to create an "instant jobs resource" for its listeners and to widen our offering to include "first-class career vacancies across the whole spectrum of the Scottish population that we serve".

Peter Gillespie, managing director of Search.co.uk, said Search.co.uk's operating model represents a "new approach to recruitment advertising", using technology to deliver uniquely effective result for recruiters and job seekers.

Search.co.uk was previously owned by recruitment specialists Search Consultancy. It is now led by former Search Consultancy director Gillespie. The first channels, jobs and flights, have been launched and the company is looking to expand to hotels, cars, houses and dating.
