Scope to Flourish

LONDON - Scope, the disability charity, has awarded Flourish its DM account. The focus will be on increasing support for the charity's flagship Time to Get Equal campaign which fights for equal rights on behalf of disabled people.

The agency won the account after a four-way pitch, following a review of Scope’s direct marketing arrangements to support its five-year business plan.
Flourish aims to align Scope's fundraising with its campaigning, policy and service innovation work, in order to engage an increasing number of supporters in its mission to achieve equality for disabled people.
Scope will retain its lead agency The Gate for strategic, brand and advertising services, with which it has worked since 2003.
Karen Barnes, head of individual giving at Scope, says: “As an agency renowned for its fresh and customer-focused approach, we are confident they will inject a new dynamism into our Individual Giving programme.
“Flourish has strong experience in successfully marketing charity sector organisations and, in line with our requirements, is committed to diversity and involving disabled people in the development of strategies and campaigns.”
Keith Nichol, creative director at Flourish says: “From the original pitch brief, the challenge was irresistible and now we're looking forward to helping them take their next step in a consistently complex and demanding sector.”
