The black-and-white press advertisements shows an Ulrika lookalike in pants and putting on her bra, while a Sven impersonator is also getting dressed. In the background, a lookalike of Sven's girlfriend, Nancy Dell'Olio, is seen entering the room with a horrified look on her face, as she catches the couple red-handed.
The ad capitalises on the recent furore over newspaper stories that alleged an affair between the UK's two most famous Swedes. However, a survey for PRWeek magazine showed that the majority of the public believed the story was created by spin doctors to aid Jonsson and Eriksson in promoting their latest projects.
It is the latest in a series of award-winning press ads for the brand, created by Mother. Others show Camilla Parker Bowles preparing for a royal wedding and Margaret Thatcher comforting Jeffrey Archer in prison. The photographer Alison Jackson gives the ads their paparazzi look.
