The ‘Get Britain Sch…wimming’ campaign, which will last for a year, is part of the Coca-Cola GB (CCGB)-owned brand’s 2012 olympic games marketing. CCGB is an official Olympics sponsor.

To receive their free swim, consumers need to take a bottle top to one of 350 participating swimming pools on a Monday.

For every bottle top redeemed Schweppes will donate £1 to the Swimming Trust, a charity dedicated to increasing the sports popularity. Marketing support for the campaign will include outdoor, radio and online.

CCGB marketing director Cathryn Sleight said: "The campaign is Schweppes Abbey Well's way of helping people to lead active lifestyles in the run-up to the London 2012 Olympic Games. This activity will help people rediscover the joys of swimming."
