Schawk acquires DJPA for European expansion

LONDON - Schawk, the global provider of brand management services, has acquired design agency DJPA Partnership for an undisclosed sum.

DJPA will form part of Anthem Worldwide, the strategic design arm of Schawk, but will continue to trade under its own name.

It will lead the expansion of Schawk's design and branding services throughout Europe.

David Schawk, president and chief executive of Schawk, said: "Our acquisition of DJPA is consistent with our strategy of acquiring high quality strategic and creative companies that enhance the integrated global offer that Schawk and Anthem provide."

DJPA will retain its senior management personnel for the long-term future.

The agency has a turnover in excess of $8m (£5.5m). Its clients include Unilever, Heinz, Warburtons and Grolsch.

Hans Muysson, DJPA's group managing director for Europe, said: "We are excited by the opportunity to combine DJPA's strategic and creative skills with the rich client base and global resources that Schawk and Anthem have to offer.

"We see the combined strengths of the network as extremely advantageous to our clients' brands."
