The events are taking place from the 17-19 June at Westfield London and Westfield Stratford shopping centres, where two enormous colourful dens will be set up.

Save the Children volunteers will be on hand to host a series of activities designed to teach young people about the issues faced by children less fortunate around the world, including the recreation of a Child Friendly Space to demonstrate the work that the charity carries out on the ground. There will also be special guest appearances from Entertainment One's Daddy Pig and former Steps singer and television presenter Claire Richards.

Save the Children’s Den Day asks families and children throughout the UK to build a den, and get sponsored to sleep in it, to raise money to transform the lives of children across the world.
