Saturday and Sunday Telegraph lift cover prices by 10p

Telegraph Media Group (TMG) has lifted the cover prices of The Sunday Telegraph and the Saturday issue of The Daily Telegraph by 10p each.

The Sunday Telegraph introduced the price change from £1.90 to £2.00 yesterday (20 February).

The Sunday Telegraph is now the same price as The Observer, but still less than The Sunday Times, which retails at £2.20.

The Independent on Sunday is priced at £1.80.

The cover price of the Saturday issue of The Daily Telegraph has been raised from £1.80 to £1.90. The change was introduced on Saturday (19 February).

The Saturday issue of the Daily Telegraph trades at a premium to The Times at £1.50 and The Guardian at £1.90.

The £1 cover price of The Daily Telegraph remains unchanged.

According to the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABCs), the January circulation of The Sunday Telegraph was 496,128, down 5.8% year on year. The circulation of the Daily Telegraph was 651,184, down 5.78% year on year.
