The Eventice, an Apprentice-styled competition created to provide an opportunity for young and emerging talent to find a job in the event industry, is the brainchild of Event magazine and ESP Recruitment. It is also supported by Blue Hat and UBM.
Elkins will be hoping she is chosen as one of the finalists to compete in a series of challenges that will take place at International Confex from 19-21 March at Excel London, and ultimately the chance to secure a job at either leading AV supplier Blitz or global experiential agency George P Johnson.
Each finalist will have their performance closely monitored, marked and discussed by a team of judges, made up of industry experts and representatives of both Blitz and George P Johnson.
Once the candidates have completed the tasks they will take part in a number of interviews and a final presentation in front of the judging panel and live audience at Confex.
