Samsung at Olympics to bolster image

Imagination and Edwin Shirley Staging (ESS) joined forces on a brand experience for Samsung at last month's Winter Olympics.

The Olympic Rendez-vous@Samsung aimed to build brand awareness and boost the image of Samsung's wireless technologies. The two-storey 1,161 sq m visitor centre at Salt Lake City featured media briefing areas and lounges.

It was designed by Imagination and built by ESS.

"The building's design was an integral part of the overall experience for visitors,

said ESS managing director Tim Norman.

The lower floor was aimed at athletes and spectators while the upper level was reserved for athletes as a place for them to relax.
