"Same sexism, different century" by Now

100 years on from women first getting the vote in the UK, what's really changed?

Far too little, in the opinion of Now, whose provocative campaign highlights how far we have yet to go on gender equality. The agency placed anti-suffragette posters from 1918 beside newly illustrated posters created with comments and tweets from people in the public eye today. Those current comments include "Women are objects" and "Women are weaker, smaller and less intelligent." The illustrations were done by Jonathan Holder, who replicated the look and feel of posters from last century, and the campaign was created by Now’s Sarah Levitt.
