Salesforce launches CRM AI platform Einstein globally

Einstein is an artificial intelligence layer that is that will automatically discover relevant consumer insights, predict future behaviour and proactively recommend best next actions for users. It is also capable of automating tasks.

It was debuted by Salesforce in beta mode during the company's annual Dreamforce summit.

Einstein Vision is an added function that is capable of using image-recognition to detect inventory levels and product quality, and even identifying consumer trends and customer preferences.

"With Einstein, we are democratising AI, enabling everyone to achieve new levels of productivity and accelerate growth, directly within the products they use every day," said Alex Dayon, president and chief product officer at Salesforce.

Companies already working with Einstein include Air France-KLM's sales teams and US Bank.

Kate Quinn, executive vice-president, chief strategy and reputation officer, US Bank, said: "Predictive insights from Salesforce Einstein can ensure that US Bank's relationship managers and loan officers are able to engage with each customer’s unique situation quickly."
