Frost, a well-known vegetarian, teamed up with Peta Europe to bare flesh for the campaign, launched during this week's London Fashion Week, in which the actor will show off her latest Frost French clothing collection. In the Peta ad, she stands naked next to the strapline "turn your back on fur".
In recent years, Peta has protested against designers who still use fur by disrupting the catwalk and waving signs with such slogans as "fur kills." Representatives from the organisation have also strapped on body screen TVs that show the public graphic video footage of animals being skinned alive for their pelts.
Frost said: "I don't use fur in my collections. It's disgusting and it reminds me of death and blood. Besides, animal cruelty is always out of fashion."
Adams said: "I'm opposed to fur and any kind of use of animal products. I don't eat them and I don't wear them. I'm not for the killing of any creature, whether it be seals, cows, dogs or any animal. So anytime it comes to any kind of animal cruelty I'm totally against it."
Former Playboy model Pamela Anderson appeared naked in an anti-fur drive in China for Peta last year. The model went naked on phone cards printed by China Telecom.
In addition, Kate Ford, the actor who plays 'Coronation Street''s Tracy Barlow, featured in an ad for Peta in 2005. She was pictured holding a white rabbit with the strapline "Try telling him it's just a bit of fur trim".
Other high-profile supporters of Peta include Sir Paul McCartney and Sophie Ellis Bextor.
