Saatchis appoints planning director

Saatchi & Saatchi has named Bobby Hui as its new planning director as part of a reshuffle that sees Jeremy Thorpe-Woods moved to a global planning role.

In the newly created position of knowledge director, Thorpe-Woods will report directly to Kevin Dundas, the global head of strategy and former Saatchis chief executive. Based in the London office, they will work together to restructure Saatchis' strategic approach on a global level.

Hui, previously the deputy head of planning, will take the helm with a brief to grow and develop the department. Hui, who will oversee a team of 17 people, has worked at the agency for the past five years, having previously worked at Coca-Cola as the director of advertising in Europe, Eurasia and the Middle East.

Lee Daley, Saatchis' newly appointed chief executive and chairman, said: "Bobby's remit will be to very quickly build the most effective and innovative strategy department in the UK and to embrace a leadership role in defining Charlotte Street as the leader in breakthrough ideas within the network."
