- Saatchi & Saatchi has closed down its offices in Dublin and Barcelona with the loss of 33 jobs.

Proctor & Gamble in Ireland will now be handled out of the London office and Saatchis will lose its other main Irish client, the telecommunications company Eircel.

The closure of the Barcelona office was prompted by the loss of Danone to Young & Rubicam in an international realignment last year. Saatchis has also sold its Munich-based direct marketing agency, MHI, to a management buyout team.
