RPM organised two grindhouse film theatre events sponsored by Tiger Beer.

Asian grindhouse, known in the 1970s as B-Movies, typically featured kung-fu action. The phenomenon was led by Filipino director Bobby A Suarez.

The free events took place at the London Vaults at SE1, London Bridge on 31 May, and at the ABC Cinema in Glasgow on 29 May. Each evening featured a double-bill screening of Suarez鈥檚 The One-Armed Executioner and They Call her Cleopatra Wong, courtesy of Firecracker TV.

Tiger Beer Grindhouse targeted 18 to 34-year-old males and was promoted by emails sent to the Tiger Beer and Firecracker database, as well as other PR initiatives including flyers.
