Royal Navy launches online campaign to recruit aircrew

LONDON - The Royal Navy is launching a targeted email recruitment drive and online advertising campaign aimed at promoting opportunities within its fleet air division.

Those being targeted through an email drop include people who have already enquired about opportunities with the Royal Air Force and others in the 16- to 23-year-old age group with an interest in aviation.

The COI-managed campaign, with creative by Glue London and media planning and buying by digital agency I-level, includes banner and skyscraper adverts on sites such as and .

The creative features the line "Join the Navy and work here" next to an image of a desk and then the words "and here" next to a Harrier Jump Jet aircraft.

Each ad also has the line "Fly Navy" and a link to the Royal Navy .
