The tool, called Business Movers File, is updated monthly and keeps track of firms' movements.
According to latest research by the Directory Association, the first few months following a move are a key time for purchasing supplies.
Particular industry sectors Royal Mail says the tool will be useful for include suppliers of office equipment and stationery, recruitment consultancies, advertising agencies and financial services.
Key features include viewing the date and distance of relocation. Telephone numbers as well as addresses are also available.
Around 300,000 businesses, which have relocated over the last three years, are on the archive, with Royal Mail estimating that around 5,000 businesses are set to be added each month.
Shaun Randles, Royal Mail head of data development, said: "There is a strong demand from our customers for the best sources of potential, high quality leads to maximise the effectiveness of their direct mail programmes.
"The Business Movers File is designed to help meet this need and enable our B2B customers to contact business movers to send relevant and targeted direct mail at a key time when they're likely to need certain services."
