These will include companies flagged up as 'in receivership' and 'moved', as well as additional information such as why a company moved and the date of its postal redirection and actual final move.
Royal Mail head of data development Shaun Randles said: "The updates will improve precision by letting customers track existing businesses and by identifying start-ups."
Other improvements include the corporate TPS running each month across the business universe and greater accuracy on the size and type of each company.
