The announcement means RCJ will terminate their contract with Seasoned Events, who managed the venue’s first commercial event in January 2000.
The government’s wider market initiative programme, which ensured state property was used to full capacity, secured Seasoned Events an events management and catering contract with the courts in 2007.
The organisers have since received two contract extensions with the venue and doubled the number of annual events held there.
Crown Group, which owns Seasoned Events, said no redundancies will be made following the venue closure. Planned events will go ahead as agreed, however, no new events will take place after June 2015.
Colin Sayers, managing director of Seasoned Events, said: "Whilst this is a huge disappointment, having hosted some of London's most spectacular events, premiere parties and fashion shows, we acknowledge and support the decision made by the board to protect the integrity of the Royal Courts of Justice and the role it plays in today's society."
