The appointment was made following a pitch against a number of undisclosed agencies. Dreams said that Robson Brown was appointed after it had demonstrated "outstanding buying ability, first-class client service and excellent all-round value for money".
Robson Brown, which also has offices in Manchester and London, has worked with Dreams since 2000 when it was first awarded what was a £1.5m media planning, buying and national TV production account. Since that time Dreams has substantially upped its media spend.
Andrew Marwick, Robson Brown's managing director, said: "We have worked with Dreams over the last six years, during which time it has been one of the UK's fastest-growing retailers.
"We believe successful work is based on partnership and this is one partnership that we are delighted will be continuing."
Greg Suthern, operations director for Dreams, said: "We challenged Robson Brown to match what the biggest and the best had to offer and, despite strong pitches from some of the best media specialists in the UK, Robson Brown met that challenge."
