The game has been made by Swedish video-game publishers Nordic Games, as part of its ‘We Sing’ series, which allows four players to sing along together using separate microphones.
Nordic Games worked with EMI in order to use 25 of Williams' songs for the game, including 'Angels', 'Rock DJ', 'Let Me Entertain You', 'She’s The One' and 'Old Before I Die'. The songs will be accompanied by their original videos.
Nordic Games and EMI have planned the game's release to coincide with the star's forthcoming release, ‘In And Out Of Consciousness: The Greatest Hits 1990-2010’, which spans his career.
Nik Blower, Nordic Games sales director, said: "After 20 years in the business, Robbie's fan base covers practically every age group, and both genders – that represents a massive percentage of the population who will want to play the 'We Sing' version of the game."
The announcement comes just days after Williams revealed he is to rejoin Take That, which he left in 1995 to pursue a career as a solo artist. The singer said he was "embarrassingly excited" about the reunion.
The five band members have not sung together for 15 years, but are due to release a new album in November. The first single to be released will challenge Simon Cowell’s annual 'X Factor' offering for the Christmas number one slot.
Nordic Games launched the ‘We Sing’ series, exclusive to Wii, in November 2009.
